Service Description

This course will be tutored by experienced professional Smith William Murgatroyd with the assistance of Jonathan de Wilton. The activities will complement and build on the basic skills learned on the Introduction to Blacksmithing course (or equivalent) that students will be expected to have undertaken. During the weekend students will develop their scrolling techniques, learn how to increase the cross section (upsetting or jumping up), use joining techniques (tenon joints, rivets and introduction to forge welding), all while making a traditional hanging basket bracket.
