Advanced Blacksmithing Techniques

During this 2 day course we will teach you some more advanced blacksmithing techniques to make a hanging basket bracket. The techniques include Splitting, Tenons, Collars, Square corners, Riveting, Upsetting and forming. These are all building blocks required by a Blacksmith. This course is an excellent next step after our Basic Skills course.

This course is not suitable for complete beginners and students should have attended one of our Introduction to Blacksmithing courses or equivalent.

1 year membership of the Guild is included with Non Member tickets

The course will take place at the Forge at Kingston Maurward College, Dorchester, Dorset.
