and is open to anyone interested in the Blacksmith's Craft

All our members have equal rights to vote on any items requiring a vote at our AGM, and to put forward any ideas or comments to improve or point out any problems affecting the Guild.
All members are eligible for a 10% discount on 2 day course fees.
All members can be actively involved with Guild events.
Members have free access to top quality Craft shows where they can demonstrate their skills, sell their products, learn from others and take part in competitions with £200 prize money available to be shared among the winners
All members receive regular newsletters to keep members informed of what is happening with the Guild, and any other relevant or useful information.

Members making the Guild Lily under the supervision of a commitee member can submit the piece for assessment by a panel of committee members, and should it reach the required standard, the member will be awarded a Certificate of Competence, and permitted to use the Guild Logo on their stationery and advertising material. They can also display the Guild Lily in their premises as a sign of their competence
Members can use the forge facilities on course days for their own projects at a reduced rate, subject to availability of forges.
